The closure of all NEXUS Enrollment Centers has resulted in a substantial backlog of NEXUS applications and renewals at U.S. Customs. Applicants for NEXUS should expect significant delays in application processing times and limited future appointment availability at NEXUS Enrollment Centers.

March 19, 2020 - CLOSED

Effective March 19, 2020, out of an abundance of caution and in the interest of minimizing exposure and controlling the spread of the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Outbreak, all NEXUS Enrollment Centers suspended operations. This extended temporary 3 YEAR closure included all public access to NEXUS ENROLLMENT CENTERS in CANADA and has created severe backlogs.* As of March 2023, The United States and Canadian Governments are jointly attempting to kick-start the NEXUS program and gradually restarting NEXUS interviews at 8 CANADIAN AIRPORTS.

OPENING OF ENROLLMENT CENTERS AT CANADIAN AIRPORTS

NEXUS interviews resume with a new 2 step process at 8 Canadian Airport Enrollment Centers in an effort to expand the NEXUS program’s capacity and help process the 300,000+ thousand applicants awaiting interviews but severe backlogs and limited interview availability will continue for many more months into 2024.

NEXUS Card is a border pass for expedited crossing over the Canadian and United States Borders.

NEXUS cards are only issued to predetermined low-risk U.S and Canadian Citizens and provide fast expedited travel through dedicated lanes as part of the trusted traveler program at the U.S and Canada borders.

The NEXUS Support Service is a department of Immigration TS. Canada`s leading independent non government support agency, specializing in nexus card applications.

The agency`s specialist skills are in interpreting government jargon and an in depth knowledge and ability to scrutinize documentation for its validity and relevance to accurately enter information into government enrollment systems thereby reducing the risk of denial associated with complex nexus card applications.
